Call for Papers

CALL FOR PAPERS OPENS 1 JUNE 2026

You're invited to submit a paper for the International Labour and Employment Relations Association (ILERA) 2027 World Congress from 30 August - 3 September 2027 at the ICC Sydney.

The ILERA 2027 World Congress will address major global transformations shaping work, including technological change, political instability, climate transitions, demographic shifts and rising inequality. These challenges intersect with ongoing concerns around job quality, worker voice and effective regulation. The Congress emphasises the need for social dialogue, coordinated action and evidence-informed policy to address these challenges. The Congress theme – ‘Sustainable, productive and decent work: Bridging research, practice and policy’– highlights ILERA’s commitment to rigorous, policy-relevant research that connects scholars, practitioners, and decision-makers.

All submissions must follow the instructions listed below and be submitted online by Monday 28 September 2026, 11:59pm AEST.

Please note that the closing date for submissions will not be extended. Presenting authors are required to register – and pay – by the deadline to be included in the final program.

All enquiries regarding abstracts for ILERA 2027 should be emailed to enquiries@ilera2027.com.
